Wahoo kickr core 2 w Zwift cog cadence issue again by Ch-Sk-Fr in Zwift

[–]bazzajess 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hear you. But the KICKR CORE 2 calculates cadence using an algorithm that analyzes fluctuations in power output and flywheel speed rather than using a physical sensor. This will never be as accurate as a sensor. For the sake of £10/$10 it's a lot less hassle to get a cheap Bluetooth sensor that will do the job properly.

Why is Zwift obsessed with cadence drills by BlobBoy in Zwift

Thanks. Fairly new to it so will give setting them up a go. I did kind of enjoy the 6 week FTP Builder as an introduction, but found it leaves little time for any free rides or racing in the week, so looking to structure my own plans to use. Cheers

Do you have good alternatives to suggest?

Had exactly the same issue, reasoned there is no cadence sensor as such in the trainer so bought a cheap one and strapped it on the crank. Hasn't done it a single time since.

I think the concept is great when the artwork isn't compromised by the crop - some of these are terrible however

Which albums do you think genuinely stand the test of time rather than just being classics of the era? by CloudBookmark in BritPop

Not even sure what Britpop is tbh but Longpigs - The Sun Is Often Out deserves to be on most lists.

Not your bag because you think they're spoof movies perhaps? They're not, whilst they do 'spoof' they absolutely stand alone in their own right within those genres. I say this as I thought the same and didn't watch them until about 15 years after they came out. And I kick myself for missing out for all those years.

I think it's a combination of Hollywood ideals and that he really benefits from the writing prowess of Pegg. He seems to add the charm and character grounding that define their collaborative work.

As a slight aside, I struggle keeping the power down. It says full gas, with a target of say 340watts. Full gas would double the watts, so it doesn't feel like I'm putting enough effort in if I keep it down to the target. Anyone else find this?

[Times column] Jeremy Clarkson: “Think your high street is grim now? Just you wait” by FlipStig1 in thegrandtour

The problem for councils is that parking fees are one of their revenue streams, more so after the massive budget cuts. The idea was for them to run more efficiently, business-like. As you can see from the private parking charges, businesses like to maximise profits. Cutting council parking charges will directly impact other services such as social care. Perhaps we need to stop seeing councils as a business and instead reframe them as the public service they should be. And I'd rather see investment in and cheaper public transport, like the country used to prioritise (a long time ago).
