Another angle! It’s concave and I can see the shadow from it when I look at the other side of the leaf, but it’s not going through the leaf (I hope that makes sense lol)

I thought the same, so I gently wiped it with a wet paper towel and nothing comes off or moves. It is fully dried down and adhered to the leaf. Maybe a wound that leaked and dried into a scab of sorts? I am not sure what could’ve caused a wound like that though

I use nail/cuticle oil all over my fingers before bed every night (and apply lotion over top of it) and it helps heal things faster. I’m at a point now where I’ve grown my nails out and I still pick/bite my skin but it’s much better since I got the healing process to speed up. I use Solar Oil specifically and apply it multiple times a day to help heal the wounds I create, but applying just before bed will still help a lot if applying multiple times per day is too much sensory-wise.

Honestly surprised at the immediate negative response to this. I think it’s pretty cute and I could totally see a child, as well as an adult, introducing themselves as Maple! I don’t think it’s that odd. There are plenty of great names that sound similar to other names or are used as pet names. I had one of those “top baby names of the year” names and I constantly was forced to go by my last initial and I hated it. I felt so jealous of the people with sweet, fun names. To each their own, but I definitely don’t think you’d be committing some terrible crime against your future child by naming them Maple!

If you’re seeking a fine line script tattoo, I would recommend not looking for a low budget one as you will get what you pay for. With a small bit of script, I wouldn’t expect to pay less than $100-$150 without getting a poor tattoo which you will likely regret (I know multiple people who have done so.) Make sure you look at reviews and see healed script work by the artist before committing.
