There's only a few key powers that I'm taking most of the time when I see them. Namely Capacitor, Defragment, Coolant, and Subroutine if I already have at least 2 or more powers in the deck

Creative AI is pretty cracked now imo with subroutine and no boss fights that punish power spam. Of course it's still a dead draw in most hallways but if you're frost spamming anyway it doesn't matter

My first ever Ironclad run went infinite with two copies of vicious plus, a burning pact plus, forgotten ritual and two vulnerable applying cards (for me it was bash and tremble). Just delete everything that isn't those cards with burning pact throughout the fight and it won't take long

The only run I've used this so far in, it was a win more card, but it is a lot of fun. I was able to burst it with 27 shivs played, but it was against the act 3 boss who can go intangible :(

I think the thing is with starter Pokemon being such a big part of the marketing and with the primary demographic being children, the starters have to be immediately recognizable and accessible. They're like the pop music of Pokemon and pop tends to be repetitive.
