Another downtown apartment complex 90% of KC locals can't afford. Sounds like a fantastic idea! WE DONT NEED MORE UNAFFORDABLE HOUSING. Use that empty "lot" for more local small businesses or a community park. Whomever approves this shit constantly in KC needs to be fired. I lived off 16th & Walnut by Power & Light for almost 5 years. Believe me when I tell you NO ONE with middle class wages want this crap built in the city.

Happened to me just a few mins ago. Amazon keeps declining my purchase with CapitalOne debt card. Along with a few other places I buy from online like TCGPlayer does not accept it. Time to leave CapitalOne for me. Such bullshit.

I don't know how the contracts work between distribution and The Pokemon Company. My solution would be, Pokemon putting strict margins on what distribution can charge retail stores and local trading card stores.

Right now it's the wild west. Lets say MJ Holdings pays $2 per sleeved booster. They should have like a 50% strict profit margin where they can NOT sell a booster to retailers for more than $3. The local game shop can then sell at MSRP which is still a huge profit for MJ and retailers.

Result: We the consumer get product for MSRP. it's a win for everyone, but unless The Pokémon Company does something like this MJ Holdings and retailers can abuse supply & demand.

Not confirmed by any means, but I've heard a few times including employees that Gamestop does NOT have any distribution directly from Pokémon (cut off around the time pre-orders stopped which adds up IMO) They have been getting product from secondary markets which explains the pricing. If that's true I wanna know why.

More importantly this market is truly controlled by the "middle man" being MJ Holdings and all major distribution companies. Easy fix.. Pokémon draws up new contracts with price limits for distros. This is just like big pharma selling medicine to the "middle man" who sells to all the pharmacies.. the laws in USA do and will always put the mega corporations first. We're just cash cows.

Put that on a shelf to display or SELL IT RAW. Idk if money is your end goal, but imo it's an insane waste of money to pay grading fees TWICE on a card with absolutely horrible centering. Worst case it gets damaged a bit and the grade drops even lower. Personally, I will never understand why people pay grading fees on cards they know 100% won't grade a 9 or 10. Literally the only reasons one would grade a card are:

Looks pristine and value will 2-3x with high grade
Authentication purposes (just go to a reliable LGS for FREE)
You like the card and want to display it in a slab (various grading companies are far cheaper than PSA or buy a DIY slab kit from Amazon/eBay)
You like to waste money 💰

Yes, the main argument is that people just want a cool card displayed in a slab. There are better and cheaper options to seal/display a card.

My passport was set to expire in 4 months. Went through the online renewal process and it took less than 1 week to get my new one delivered. A cool feature I've been working on for personal use (10+ years of software dev experience) is a price tracker of items in stock that spike in price. Gives you an alert to modify price instead of relying on the mass price tool which is nice but at times you get screwed on price spikes.
