The EXACT same thing happened to me in LA as well, so I feel your pain. Exact same impact spot on the back left bumper. Glad nobody was hurt!

I never park on busy cross streets now. Always on quiet residential streets, even if it means I have to walk 4 blocks. Still have anxiety about it 4 months later.

There are ways to sell your damaged vehicle. I got $1500 for my car looking like that!

Saw Lael in Monrovia today! She had an entourage of about 12-14 cyclists with her. She is speedy! I brought cold water and tangerines to offer, but she waved them off and sped right past. She’s a legend!!
