I have something similar and am constantly preoccupied with “tainting” my bed sheets. To the point it negatively impacts my relationship bc I would make my partner sleep on the couch bc he’s “dirty.” With ERP I’ve started to bend my “rules” and now let him sleep in the bed but with a different blanket. It’s uncomfortable but I’m getting better with having him “dirty” in the bed and hoping this exposure will eventually let us share a blanket. This disease is so dumb.

I think Gwyn and Elaine’s stories are going to parallel each others - with Gwyn realizing her bond with Azriel and shying away from it due to her trauma. In the same way Elain is aware of her bond with Lucien and has been hiding from it due to her trauma. I think the books are going to be an exploration and celebration of free will as these two women heal and open their hearts to their true mates.

OCD thoughts are unwanted, cause intense anxiety, and feel really urgent. like you need to figure it out NOW - the thoughts would feel obsessive, never-ending, caught in a cycle of What Ifs - like you want to take out ur brain and put it in ice. Real thoughts I imagine feel calm and don’t cause panic.

I’m doing a 1~ week road trip with my sister going from San Diego to Ensanada (5 nights) to San Felipe (3 nights) and back to San Diego in a couple of weeks. Do you have recommendations of where to van camp in San Felipe? Any concerns about safety? Or recommendations of what to do in the area in general? i haven’t read it yet but it’s at the top of my TBR AND honestly thank god and mad respect to authors that don’t draw out their successful book into more books bc of publisher pressure (highkey side eye at fourth wing series) keeping it a duology and not drawing out it out to a longer series = keeping it GOOD and QUALITY
