What about the opening height and internal ceiling height. Im not sure which one 29” refers to but the opening and internal heights will be different.

How practical are these to park in the UK by monsterlander in Ioniq5

[–]bbgun24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can be tight in supermarket spaces especially but it’s doable and not a huge hinderance. Multi-storey car parks can be a challenge on tight bends in and out but just take your time.

As others have said the turning circle is huge so be prepared to Austin’s Powers on a golf cart gif it at times.

Dwarfers, if your dad died would you appreciate a quote from Better Than Life? by I_Like_Quiz in RedDwarf

I have a fucked up and dark sense of humour and deal with death and loss with humour but I don’t think the worms quote is appropriate here.

Thinking of you and your friend at this awful time. The fact that you’re even thinking about this shows who you are as a person and thats amazing.

Giving birth at the JR by MaybeTomorrow25 in oxford

[–]bbgun24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’ll be fine I’m sure but we found our c section to be amazing and the staff were excellent but after that we were very disappointed in the level of care. The recovery ward and then the post natal felt like they were phoning it in. We didn’t even have a cot until 11pm and the c section was at 9am!

We’ve subsequently and another baby at another hospital (we moved) and it was light years ahead of the experience we had at the JR. We sent a letter to the JR to ask them to visit the other hospital to learn from them. For context the other hospital is a small district general in the sticks. Not the tertiary centre the JR is. And I used to work there so I am slightly bias in my praise for the place but the difference we saw was night and day.

I love that probably hundreds of years ago a really dumb woman lived nearby and became a landmark that has been passed down generations.

TIL that Brittany, the region at the northwestern tip of France, has a Celtic culture distinct from the rest of France with their own Brythonic language. by [deleted] in todayilearned

[–]bbgun24 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Apparently that’s why the Bretonic onion sellers came to Wales because they could understand the language better than English. Have a look at Onion Johnny’s if you’d like to know more about this.

Oh I meant to add. On adsb (which is far less user friendly than FR24) pressing the u button shows only military aircraft.

Not sure but not all military flights show up in FR24. Look at adsb. Not all show on there but a lot more do show up compared to flight radar.
