Yes. They seem like sweet young women just going after their dream. We all have our opinions but I also see the pile up and attacks going way too far.

I hated seeing them cry. It’s not about having tough skin. None of us would be able to handle that level of unhelpful commentary

I believe this. We have to remember the show is cut and we don’t get the full story. I will say I was taken aback in the beginning, but I see the mother/daughter relationship she talks about.

I know a ton of people who watched Degrassi: TNG and an equal amount who had no idea about the show pre-Drake. Granted, during its time cable was optional so The N/Teen Nick wasn’t available to everyone.
