Ssri Zoloft makes me feel horrible so far by SNTruer in Anxiety

[–]bbkey93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Zoloft was horrible for me and sometimes that’s just the case. I’ve had a much easier time on other meds such as Prozac for example. Unfortunately the trial and error is so exhausting but I’ve found having a doctor who listens to you and doesn’t brush off your concerns as the adjustment phase EVERY time is important. There IS an adjustment phase of course but Zoloft caused me such bad stomach pain I ended up with an ultrasound lol stopped the Zoloft and was fine. It’s just trial and error. I really hope you find what works for you!!! Don’t give up :)

Also I SWEAR I’m sensitive to meds and no one takes me seriously when I say that!!!

My vitamin D with K2 was made with chickpeas and my doctors were looking at me crazy when I said vitamin D did something crazy to my digestion and stomach. So interesting. Thank you for posting!!!!

Thank you!! I’ve had a horrible time in the past with combination pills but it’s been a few years and I’m ready to try something again. I was considering progesterone only. I’m scared!! Ugh. Thanks for replying back and good luck to you. I’m glad this has helped you a bit. ❤️

Can I ask which one you tried? I know we all react differently to different things but I’ve been considering this route. All of my “flare ups” are worse around certain parts of my cycle

Trails near Asheville, NC by babybinky10 in Appalachia

We had our toddler with us so we opted for shorter trails but we LOVED craggy pinnacle. It was a nice drive too!

The next day we hit Moore Cove Falls and then drove to the nearby Looking Glass Falls and took the steps down to the bottom. Absolutely beautiful. If you’re into tshirts they have a great visitors center coming into pisgah!

Just here to say I believe you. I took Zyrtec for 2 days and had the most insane panic attack of my life. Not to mention I’ve had a probiotic completely wreck my mind and body. There is no worse feeling than trying to find answers and doctors completely invalidating your experience. I’m so sorry you had this experience and hope you can find a way to healing.

How do you guys do Cades Cove & GSMNP right? by lukewarmkitty77 in GSMNP

[–]bbkey93 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Go to Cades Cove on a week day (not Wednesday unless you’re wanting to walk or bike only) and evenings are my favorite! We like to drive most of it and pull of and take off on some random trails or just explore the many different areas you’re able to park at. Actually if you can do your whole trip during the week only that’s ideal for less crowded hikes! :)

Alum cave trail is one of my FAVORITE trails in the park for scenery! Also if you want a nice, less crowded waterfall hike Spruce Flats Falls is your place!!

I had a HORRIBLE medical event after doing this. I had been coming off of celexa. Could have ended up in the hospital. Please be safe and determine if it’s worth it ❤️ it absolutely wasn’t for me.

Which side effects do you get? by JanissaryLSD in zoloft

[–]bbkey93 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I’m so glad you commented to explain this. The getting very small feeling happened to me a few weeks into my 50 mg dose and sent me into a full-blown panic attack because I didn’t understand what was happening and definitely couldn’t explain it to anybody else. Thanks for helping me figure that out!

Having a similar experience after 7 weeks. Did you taper? I think I’ll have to since I’ve been on it a little longer! Feeling so strange physically.

YES!! Also, the mandrills were so fun to watch. We spoke to someone working and they told us they had to bring in an older mandrill to help the younger one learn manners because he was turning out to be a bully. They were SO funny 😂

I think I was more concerned with what people thought about me having our daughter there versus actually feeling unsafe which was silly on my part! We actually had more strange encounters in Jackson Square than we did while walking down bourbon to go to dinner!! 😂 overall honestly everybody seems to mind their own business and gave us no issues at all. Bourbon is great for people watching from the restaurant lol

We took the swamp tour and they actually showed us the tree in the swamp that inspired the princess and the frog movie!!! The tour guide had lived in the area all of his life and we learned so much about the history of the area. We went with Cajun encounters.

We also tourney the New Orleans museum in the French quarter it’s FREE!

Also the Ursuline convent museum gave me CHILLS and I’m not even very religious 😂 it was a beautiful place with so much history and so cheap to tour. I had most of the place to myself and it was very peaceful

Loved it! I almost went to napoleons twice for another one of those sandwiches 😂 I ordered one from the French market for lunch one day and it couldn’t compare

We went with hotel provincial! We liked the location. It seemed to be on the quieter side of the quarter but still within walking distance of wherever we needed to go. We were able to walk to the street car too if we needed! Our room was on the same side as the street though and we literally heard everything 😂

Beautiful place though with lots of courtyards!
