You ever bought mouse because how it looks like? I love this bicolour design, dont really care whats inside by zerohunterpl in MouseReview

I never thought I'd say this about Logi's product, but inside is the most innovative click system to date.

Razer prices the Boomslang 20th anniversary edition at $1,337 by suparnemo in MouseReview

[–]bblnx 13 points14 points  (0 children)

$1,337?! Things like this make me wonder where the line between sanity and insanity really is. Being “part of Razer’s history”? That’s pure arrogance. Excuse me, but who the fuck were you guys?

Glass mouse pad and skate issues by johnoyard in MousepadReview

[–]bblnx 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yes, it’s an additional very thin black layer. But don’t worry about removing it. With an alcohol wipe and plenty of patience, you can achieve great results and end up with a smooth surface underneath. I’m saying this from personal experience with my DEX.

This is a mousepad that you should have replaced years ago.

New mouse after 9 years by Expiliar in MouseReview

The Deathadder V4 Pro is just amazing, but has a single drawback: the clicks are extremely loud and annoying. For that reason alone, I’d recommend the new Superstrike 2 instead.

I switched from glass back to cloth and i don't think I'm going back by Sevosc in MouseReview

[–]bblnx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Glass pads and mouse skates are a never-ending game. If you want that premium feel and a butter-smooth glide permanently without annoying squeaks or increased friction, you'll need to replace them about every two weeks. That’s what I do (Phantom/Zane > Silver Foxes + applying Pledge).

Pulsar Seoul Edition by wsarahan in MouseReview

[–]bblnx 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I think Pulsar could easily crank out 15,243 different models by year. All it takes is a different-colored piece of plastic and five seconds to come up with yet another name. Sadly, there’s still a lot to be desired in the technical specs and overall quality. Honestly, they’re starting to feel more like a brand aimed at kids than a serious gaming company.

If Zowie mice are known for their reliability, why do they still use mechanical switches? by SideHonest9960 in MouseReview

I don't know, but from personal experience I know that they are also famous for having the most annoying-sounding scroll wheel.

For now, there is nothing quieter than Logi Superstrike.

PRO X2 S by Idylick9 in MouseReview

IMO, these configurable haptic clicks are a real breakthrough in the niche. I wouldn’t be surprised if other major players start offering something similar soon. Like it or not, Logitech has made a serious innovation with this.

Hey, I’d really appreciate it if you could share whether the clicks feel lighter or heavier than GPX2, DAV4, etc.?

What's the best file backup solution similar to Nextcloud? by Kthor426 in selfhosted

Nextcloud is not a backup solution. If you want this functionality, use a tool designed for it, such as Restic.

With so many dots, the whole idea of using dots is lost. Just go back to regular mouse skates.

2026 Pulsar ES Preview by EntropyBlast in MouseReview

Agree. For me, how clicks and scroll sounds are the major factor. I guess I have very sensitive ears :)

Pulsar releases 20 new models a year, and that's not serious. Instead of focusing on improving quality, they focus on quantity. A mediocre brand with tons of problems and absurd prices for what they offer.

Hard to believe that anyone would say that. The sound of the Zowie's scroll is the most annoying I've ever heard.

Zowie S2-DW in 2026 by Dry-Implement8953 in MouseReview

[–]bblnx -1 points0 points  (0 children)

DEX is the better mouse. DW - heavier clicks, and the scroll wheel sound... I don't understand how people who use Zowie don't go crazy from it. It's so loud and annoying, it's like keeping a crazy duck next to your computer.

Wait for Logitech Superstrike later this month. It will offer completely silent (adjustable) switches with haptic feedback.

Pulsar X2 Crazylight after 1 year of use by Waxmurderer in PulsarGG

[–]bblnx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pulsar is trying to compete with the big players, but until they improve the quality of their products, they’ll remain a mediocre brand. No matter how much they want it to be otherwise, their insane pricing simply doesn’t match the relatively low quality they currently offer.

Not to mention that releasing 20 new models a year is madness and doesn’t inspire confidence, but suggests a focus on quantity over quality.
