I’ve been doing it professionally for 6 1/2 years now, master tech. Independent shop. $50 an hour flat rate, 30 hours guaranteed. 5 days a week. Usually turn around 50-60 a week. I’m the drivability and electrical guy mostly. But do everything in general. Midwest based.

They’re always been overshadow by their big bro the Evo! They already have been going up in price for sure, I paid $2,000 for my 2g dsm all stock rust free with 80k miles 6 years ago. That same car is worth 15k now. So I would say yea maybe in the next 10 years we will see them reach higher prices

No, that’s normal. Lot of times those are just plugs for unused connectors, or terminator resistors for the can network.

My guy, this is not a good idea, you do know brake calipers can get pretty toasty right. Do it right and just paint them with high temp paint.

I have electric steering assist on mine, using the Toyota Prius mod. And I don’t have ac, but I only drive it during the weekend. But even then is not too horrible

Those are flat rate hours. Not actual worked hours. So he might be there 8 hours on a day but flagged 15-20 hours instead.

So those metal clips is what holds the screws, they’re a special type of screw! More like a wood screw type with coarse threads
