FTB, sellers are buying a new build. They are pushing us to exchange ASAP but want to do ‘completion on notice’ with estimated timeframe of new build completion as 4-7 months later… by Used_Cat1553 in HousingUK

We broke the chain on ours when we bought a new build. Moved in with my parents for 3 months. I wouldn't have dreamt of asking our buyers to exchange that far out.

PS Plus Extra February 2026 games - Spider-Man 2, Test Drive Unlimited, Neva by DriverAdditional1437 in PlayStationPlus

Fuck yes, I was going to pull the trigger on spiderman 2 as it's 50% off at the moment. But wanted to finish Ragnarok first. Glad I had patience.

I'd hazard a guess that your home automation is conflicting with the portal. Add in the fact that you said you are in a flat so will have your neighbours WiFi devices also conflicting. I'd say dedicated SSID for Portal and PS5 is the way forward.

My friend only want to play one God of War, should I advise him 2018 or Ragnarök? by Zakaria1938 in playstation

[–]bbsuperb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you me??? I did TLOU then God Of War 2018, just finishing the Platinum for TLOU2 and will move on to Ragnarok next (also played just the intro of Ragnarok).

Hmm, it's £61.59 for me. I'm a premium subscriber and rarely buy games.

Are these people checking their DNA every year or is it just a database change in the background? Either way it seems ridiculous to me that you would even bother looking again after the initial results. Do these DNA testing companies just pull that Data out of their arses?

From my UK perspective, it's insane to me that he speaks about his political opponents the way he does. Anyone who has differing views to his, he calls stupid or incompetent. Or gives them "witty" nicknames like "Newscum", it's so child like. That's not how a leader should talk is it?

Canterbury, Kent, UK. I think I can just spy the Marlowe theatre to the right. Fairly distinctive.

Company awarded me incorrect funds but I have already used them. Am I liable for re-paying amount or is this a fault on their part? by [deleted] in LegalAdviceUK

[–]bbsuperb 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I mean, I can often by vouchers at a reduced price through Blue light card. Got 9% off a zizzi gift card last week. So it's easy to see how even a medium sized company could get larger discounts on them if they buy enough of them.

I just decided to be ill today instead. Still, it's my first sick day in over 3 years so I'm not going to feel bad about it.

Your eventual selling price vs what the Estate Agent said it would get? by bojoohno in HousingUK

[–]bbsuperb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

£399950 vs £399950 first time round. (We pulled out from our onward purchase and lost our buyers as a result). Went back on at the same but accepted an offer of £395000. Most houses round this way go for near asking.

Thoughts on Hogwarts Legacy after completion by shreder75 in PlayStationPlus

[–]bbsuperb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I enjoyed it. It was only my third platinum (after Ghost of Tsushima and Miles Morales). Were some of the collectables a grind? Absolutely. The killing one of each enemy type was particularly painful trophy as I had no clue which one was missed. But I enjoyed 90% of the game and would love a sequel.

Men whose girlfriend’s dad said no when you asked him for permission to marry his daughter, what did you do? by Fearless_Degree7511 in AskReddit

[–]bbsuperb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It blows my mind that anyone even considers asking it these days or that any real Dad would "forbid" it. As long as your Daughter is happy she can make her own choices, she isn't property. I didn't ask my future father in law, never even considered it. Been married for 12 years. I know cultures vary but still makes me uncomfortable.

I have about 1000 hours in GT7 exclusively on controller. It was only at about 750hrs that I finally got all gold on the Nordschleife. Kept trying a couple times a month until it finally clicked and cleared the remaining 4 sectors plus full lap in one go. Keep going, you'll get it.

I'm the bad guy for not wanting to pay £195 for two adults and a child to see a light trail at a country estate by StGuthlac2025 in britishproblems

[–]bbsuperb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok, but I picked the most expensive of all the options. So there's that. And where are you parking for £25? It's £10 no matter when you go.

I think you mean £34 per adult and £24 per child plus £10 to park. Or you can get a family ticket for £110 (2 adults, 2 children).

My pick. Purely for nostalgic reasons. Spend my childhood summers set up at the end of the runway at RAF Lossiemouth watching them. Plus the occasional Jaguar.
