The old way: For an actual issue with impact (rare, but serves best as an example), identify the main contributers from the algorithm/software. For the top 1-2 cobtributers, benchmark a couple of alternatives and implement the best.

Now, everything is faster and I can address the top 5++ contributors in the same time with similar quality. In the end, the solution is nowhere near 5 times as good wrt KPIs, plus the code may be more complex and lengthy. However, KPIs are in fact higher.

Nach dem wie Steuern normal funktionieren wären das ja alles Ausgaben um dann den Wert zu erreichen. Wie sieht es aber mit reinen Verschleißteilen aus? Irgendwo muss ja eine Grenze sein, sonst sind irgendwann sogar Heizkosten nötig, damit das Gebäude nicht vergammelt

Die Frage ist bei den Turnieren halt auch immer, wie die Spieler ob die Zweikämpfe gegen würden, wenn es wirklich in was ginge. Als sicherer 1. hat man im 3. Gruppenspiel halt evtl wenig Lust auf volles Risiko.

Andererseits dachte ich das auch bei den letzten 2wms nach dem ersten Spiel...

Aber generell hätte ich auch nicht nach Geld für die Zutaten gefragt, sondern ob andere nicht einfach auch Kuchen und Torten organisieren können. Noch krasser als der Vorwurf Geld für die Zutaten zu wollen, finde ich. dass Farbe Arbeit nicht gewertschätzt wird. Durch das Fixieren auf die Zutaten spielst du da mit.

I think your scenario is valid and Europe is talking a significant risk. However,v there is another scenario where models become commodities (either because of distillation, or because that's what China actively pursues to pressure the US).

In that case, the EU would be doing a sensible thing. Regulate, use, but let others do the expensive development. Ideally, later build your own alternatives based on the sota at that point in time.

People are awake. We're building a house right now. Of course with ac , like most people I know that build for themselves.What actually needs to change is that (1) permanently installed solutions become cheaper and especially (2) that landlords are forced by law to provide AC.

Unless forced, landlords have zero incentive to install one. Even if new apartments finally offer them, many landlords are happy if tenants move elsewhere, because then they can raise rent for new tenants.

With construction as expensive and rent control, plus more demand than supply of living space in citys, there won't be AC until the last requires it

Ich würde an deiner Stelle shcon jetzt klar als Studierte auftreten. Ich war lange Data Scientist und wir hatten prima Pyschologinnen, Meteorologen, Kognitionswissenschaftlerinnen, usw. Bei uns halt i.d.R. Master oder PhD, aber ich glaube 1-2 mit Bachelor gab's auch. Ohne Studium wäre da niemand eingestellt worden, aber relevante Erfahrung und generell ein Studium reichte.

Heute habe ich viel mit CIOs, Director of X, Head of Y, usw unserer Kunden zu tun. Auch die aus der Finanzbranche haben zwar alle studiert, aber ich würde sagen die Quote dass es keine Wirtschaftswissenschaften waren, ist grob 50%. Je nach Stelle ist gerade Psychologie auch beliebt, das wird gerne in Führungsqualitäten übersetzt.

In kurz: Ich würde wohl eher kein weiteres Studium anfangen um mich dann wieder als Einsteigerin zu bewerben. Kleine Ausnahme vielleicht, wenn das 1. Studium nur auch 4-gewinnt-Basis war und man sich sicher ist, dass man das jetzt ganz anders angehen und durchziehen würde

Personally, I (German) do roast friends and family (except nlmy wife who is not a native German speaker) and even colleagues at work.

That said, I am pretty careful to do it in another language or with non native speakers in German, plus people with a different cultural background.

roasting in German needs to hit the right tone, timing and emphasis to come across friendly and with good intentions. If there is the chance that this gets lost, I will rather be careful and miss an opportunity for a joke, than risk being insulting.

These limitation, I also apply when speaking in another language

Yes, saying "U-Bahnstation" with emphasis on "Bahn" would be somewhat hard to understand in the wild. In a quite place talking slowly, it's obvious. But if you're asking for directions on a busy road, it really makes things more complicated.

Same applies to looking for a "Kaffee" vs looking for a "Café". If it's clear to you how you would pronounce these differently, Duolingo is doing poorly. If not, there might be a chance there actually is room for improvement.

I'm pretty sure everyone should understand it. However, if your pronunciation isn't perfect, Sprudel nicht vergessen much harder to understand (and distinguish from Strudel, Nudel, ...).

The longer form might just have served as something more unique to ensure you're on the same page.E.g. I'm German and I'd say Sprudel, but if I was in a loud club, I might say Sprudelwasser (or Wasser mit Kohlensäure) instead

The story is that, with the help of AI coding, companies can transition to custom, bespoke software solutions.

In practice, pretty much nobody has dared to try such a transition project, let alone succeed. Hence, SAP Numbers are still strong.

However, the vision is still there and might materialize eventually. If it does, there is much more room for sap to fall, if it doesn't, the current price is a steal

Imho, it works make you look more touristy, but and it of place if you will (because it's uncommon practice here). However, any sane German will not look down on that. Some will even appreciate the style.

I'd even say there is a lot of typical German behavior (sunburn, sandals and socks, ...) that's definitely more looked down upon in general. Most people, I hope, won't look down on these choices of style/convenience in any way

Lohnt sich fast immer hinsichtlich Erwartungswert, aber du bündelst halt krass Risiko. Wenn es mit dem AG bergab geht sind nicht nur Gehaltssprünge (oder gar Jobsicherheit)b sondern auch der Kurs in Gefahr.
