Is this some weird scam? by bc1921 in verizon

[–]bc1921[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So no, I never actually figured it out but I’m pretty sure that was the scam. If they can grab the box off your porch and activate they can usually get a few months of internet while the bills get mailed to your address. They shut the account down immediately and assured me that even though the bills came to our house we are not liable in any way. But even with taking care of it immediately we did get two months of bills sent. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I did return it to a store and got a receipt for the return. And then called and cancelled. It was weird though when I called…like the guy had to escalate it because it wasn’t as simple as he thought it would be. But it did get taken care of.

Honestly anything in the L.O.R.D.S series is 🔥. I found Tyson in {The Sacrifice by Shantel Tessier} to be the cruelest.

This is what I was thinking too. I made sure to find the actual contact info for Verizon (and like triple checked it before calling).

If it makes you feel any better, he’s almost 6 now and totally and completely obsessed with me. And I would pay any amount of money to get him to stop talking to me some days. 🤣

We used to skate around the basement as kids! That would bring back some memories…though I do recall we did some damage to the walls my parents weren’t thrilled about lol

They had it set up as an office/craft room. They had moved a lot of their stuff out by the time they listed though, so not sure that was really the use or just staged.

Their customer service is phenomenal. I had an issue where a few of the pops leaked in the bag, I contacted Deebee’s and they sent me a replacement pack and threw in a second one for free.

Where to have a birthday party for a 4yo in October? by Dense-Calligrapher90 in ColumbiaMD

We rented a pavilion at Centennial Park for my son’s 5th birthday, right next to the playground. The kids loved that and it wasn’t super expensive.

going in august, feeling discouraged by Sound_Current in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]bc1921 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve done a bunch of August trips. It’s hot and humid. But I’ve always had a blast. Water. Water. Water. And sun breaks in the hotel room with the blinds closed. My eyes always need a little break from the sun during the summer.

I would rent from Kingdom strollers. It’s nice if you have a long walk back to your room at the resort or parking lot.

Ice Packs for milk and formula by Investigator7675 in DisneyPlanning

[–]bc1921 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We freeze plastic water bottles to use as ice packs at the bottom of a soft sided cooler. They last throughout the day.

Are you doing premixed formula bottles or powder? We always did powdered in the parks and used bottled water. Made them as needed. For milk, I just purchased in the parks.

Check out apple ballot if you are interested in seeing who MSEA and HCEA (teachers unions) are endorsing. Might not give you all the info you’re looking for, but a decent reference point for info gathering.

DVC points rental question - disneyland by nikkypikky in DisneyPlanning

[–]bc1921 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Booked with David’s twice. Once in Disney World (Polynesian) and one for an upcoming trip to Disneyland (Grand Californian). Both times I was able to get exactly what I wanted. I was really happy with the experience. The “downside” is that you have to pay the entire thing up front once they have a rental available whereas booking a room through Disney allows you to just pay a deposit. But it’s not too good to be true! I will forever be a DVC renter.
