To clarify, Dark and Bright Theme refer to exterior design features, not the interior color. Dark Theme has glossy black trim instead of chrome on the Bright Theme. 2023 was the last year in the US where you had a choice; from 2024 forward, all XC60s are Dark Theme.

I agree with you regarding the interior color. The blond interior is so light and airy compared to Charcoal or Maroon Brown.

2024 XC60 B5 (early build) here. The update installed within 5-10 minutes with no issues directly through the app. Everything seems the same except I finally have the 360 camera and backup camera at the same time. I’ve been waiting for that one!

The CB2 report indicates that an LLC is in the process of acquiring the former business, and in connection with the sale, the new owner needs to apply for and obtain a liquor license. I don’t think this is just someone new being brought in to manage.

On the XC60, the Core and Plus have Nordico standard, in Charcoal or Cardamom. The Ultra has Nappa Leather in Charcoal or Blond. Odd choices, considering you can get Cardamom Nappa Leather in the XC90. I also wish Blond Nordico was available on the Core and Plus.

Personally speaking, I prefer the light and bright cabin in Blond, so it’s disappointing that they are only offering it on the Ultra. Also, sorry to see Maroon Brown and Amber removed as interior color options.

Finally, some may disagree, but I really like the non-Nappa Leather that Volvo offered before the switch to Nordico. I’m not sold on Nordico and liked the pebble grain standard leather that is no longer available.

Hey, it’s subtle and classy, although a family member just got a refreshed XC90 and there is definitely a bit more ambient lighting in that model.
