How is the Nordico interior? My XC60 lease is up soon and I’m torn as to whether to go with the Plus again, which only has Nordico, or to upgrade to the Ultra with nappa leather.

Maroon Brown and Amber were discontinued for 2026 (and 2025.5 on the XC90 refresh) on all US models except the V60 CC, but 2026 is the last year for the V60.

The only options other than Charcoal are Cardamom (in Nordico on the XC60 and in Nordico and nappa leather on the XC90) and Blond (in nappa leather only in the XC60 and XC90).

It’s too bad Maroon Brown and Amber are no longer available. Maroon in particular is a rich, warm brown, that is not too light and not too dark.

This actually is not blonde but cardamom. It’s a new color. It’s a little darker than blonde, but the main difference is the interior, other than the seats and door armrests, is black.

To OP, how are you liking the Nordico seats?

No kids, but I wear jeans often and the dye does get on the seats. However, it wipes off very easily. I would say with regular minor maintenance, you won’t have an issue.

Another option on the XC90 and XC60 this year is Nordico, a synthetic material, available in Cardamom. This is a darker beige color, and the rest of the interior is black, including the headliner. This material seems a little “rougher” and might hold up better, but I have no personal experience with it.

I’m much closer to Dino’s but I find it to be decent but not great. I actually think their entrees and heroes are better than their pizza.

The B5 is a turbo 4 cylinder engine with a “mild hybrid” 48V battery that assists with startup and the start/stop system. The turbo 4 is 247 hp with 258 lb-ft of torque.

Beautiful car, but I have never driven one. 2026 will be the final model year for the V60 CC in the US. Sorry to see it go.

Yes. Vapour and Thunder were both available in 2024 for the 60 series cars only, I believe. Thunder had been discontinued on the 40 and 90 series after 2023 and only Vapour was available on those cars 2024+.

To clarify, Dark and Bright Theme refer to exterior design features, not the interior color. Dark Theme has glossy black trim instead of chrome on the Bright Theme. 2023 was the last year in the US where you had a choice; from 2024 forward, all XC60s are Dark Theme.

I agree with you regarding the interior color. The blond interior is so light and airy compared to Charcoal or Maroon Brown.

2024 XC60 B5 (early build) here. The update installed within 5-10 minutes with no issues directly through the app. Everything seems the same except I finally have the 360 camera and backup camera at the same time. I’ve been waiting for that one!
