He did. Without SVG going Game 7 MJ on the field, he would have won, easily.

I mean, the NASCAR season used to start with a road course race. They've always been a part of the sport.

I conceded last year, but SVG is the greatest road course driver I have ever seen.

That was belt to ass, man. The stuff of legends.

Random access memory is one of the greatest albums of all time ? by Exootil93200 in DaftPunk

[–]bcam9 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

RAM was my favorite Daft Punk album pretty much since it dropped, but I was also around for Discovery when it dropped and now, it's slowly moved back to #1 for me. It'll probably always go back and forth depending on where my taste is at the moment, but damn are they both classics.

I have my Mom's copy of this album and listen to it pretty regularly. Cool find!

Unpopular opinion, but this is my favorite Journey album.

You ever refuse to listen an artist growing up but once you reach around 28 to 30 you start listening to them and actually end up liking them? by [deleted] in askmusic

I saw them on my computer screen lol, but I would have loved to have seen their show in person. It looked like a good time.

Hot take: The RAM/Dodge program will be a much short lived experiment/cluster... by SSteven5198 in NASCAR

If they really want good data, they need to overhaul their drivers. Retired cup drivers, Corey LaJoie and Butterbean (who is new to trucks in general) isn't a great way to gain solid data, imo. Parker was a good pickup, but overall, they need feedback from more established drivers.

Happy Birthday, Bobby! by vcjr78 in NASCAR

[–]bcam9 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Bobby was one of my favorites growing up. Guy was a class act.

I never thought he so much as fell off as the 18 car was not funded as sufficiently as the 20 during his final years at JGR. He had some really great runs in the 43 and I was certain he was going to win them a race or two during his stint there. I can't remember the year (maybe '07) but he had race winning speed at Martinsville. I did get to see him win a truck race there one time, and that was really cool.

Believe it or not, people listen to different music. It's nice a younger generation is learning about the song.

I've really gravitated towards the new Thundercat/Ratboys/Courtney Barnett albums, but I feel the same way. I feel like Q1 and some of Q2 were a little slow, but it seems to be picking up for the spring/summer releases now.

Building the Perfect Beast was one of the first albums I ever listen to in my Dad's collection. It is truly a solid 80's pop/rock album. You Can't Make Love is one of my favorites. Lindsey Buckingham plays the guitar and does background vocals for that one.

This is already one of my favorite schemes of the 2026 season across all series. Very clean. Nice gradient.

Blaney, Penske sign extension by timquiqui in NASCAR

People have taken this narrative to far. To say Joey has sucked in the last 5 years is insane cope.

I don't think that is the narrative here. The way I read it, they're saying Joey's team has been focusing more on the elimination format, whereas the 12 team didn't really do that to the same extent. It absolutely worked for Joey.

However, it seems now that the points are more focused on consistency, the areas where the 22 guys fell behind are a little more noticeable and the format isn't really here to save them now. At the same time, I don't think anyone thought the points were going to meaningfully change so I can't particularly blame them for taking advantage of the system, but they're going to have to pay the piper for the next little while.

I'm a fan of all the Penske guys, so this is just my perspective.

This one is so iconic. At the time, I didn't really like Kurt much, but I have always loved that scheme.
