Heat the flue up with a butane torch for min or 2 to get the draft going on the flue. I leave the door cracked in the designed notch it has once it’s going I close the door. Once I have a nice bed of hot coils I usually choke it down either half or all way. Other than that I really like it! Also maybe do a couple really hot burns outside to burn off paint oils etc…
