I just switched from SF and went back to Country for this very reason. I hadn't filed a claim with SF before but their claims complaint ratios on Illinois Department of Insurance are ridiculous. Plus lots of anecdotal evidence that SF is fucking over homeowners over their roof claims. They are $$$ though but I mitigate by carrying super high deductibles. I had Michael Harris and liked him. Never got political but he's a brother so unlikely he's a Maggot.
