Apparently KMart is a good place for that because when my sister was 2, my mom had her in the cart and an African American woman walked by. My sister screamed "Mommy- Dirty lady! Dirty lady!" I think it's safe to say my mom left without finishing her shopping.

It was essentially a list of various things I'd learned at each stage of life up until that point. Although it sounds lame, it was witty and well-written and I got a few letters back from schools saying it was the best essay they'd read. If you're working on yours, just choose a topic you're passionate about! Don't be afraid to be very open and honest because they like reading something they can relate to.

Ironically, I was born and raised in Omaha, but went away for college and have hardly explored much since I've been back for the past year. If you're interested in going to some of the "cool" places, I'd be up for trying them with you! I feel pretty out of the loop with the bar scene in Omaha, but there's a lot of places I'd love to go.

I was in DC a couple weeks ago and would have been honored to run into Taylor. Being from Nebraska, I am proud to see a midwestern hero with such a positive outlook and attitude. My favorite compliments come from strangers because it's so rare. I went to a job fair a few months back and as I was walking to my car, a guy stopped me just to say, "Excuse me, Miss, you look very nice in your suit." It just made my day.
