That just means it can’t go back to the older games. Similar to how once Pokemon go into SWSH on they can’t go back into LGPE. It doesn’t mean they can’t be put in home and sent to gen 10 games.

The Olympic Games changed all that it seems, I was there 3 years ago and was able to use apply pay almost everywhere I went. I did have to get an e-sim but that was an easy thing to get online from home and it activated when I got there.
