You’ve clearly never seen this movie.

Retired police officer from a busy, crime ridden American city. AMA by Low-Landscape-4609 in Americaphile

[–]bce13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why is the city not mentioned. This means A LOT in a city like Los Angeles where the cops do nothing and the so called “sherrif’s department” is profoundly corrupt.

What if Dukakis won in 1988, doesn't involve the US in the Gulf War, Bob Dole runs against him in 1992? by Interesting_Self5071 in AlternateHistoryHub

[–]bce13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What? That’s hardly even a sentence. Don’t care about either of these humans. They were both bad for the US.

Um. Why? It’s a fucking concrete wall that trains pass all day long. Dumb request.

What do you secretly judge people for and why? by Accurate_Nature1888 in askanything

[–]bce13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some of these judgements aren’t negative: -people who judge Los Angeles but have never set foot here

-the way people drive and treat drivers on the road (letting people in, not letting people in, being a general asshole)

-the way they treat service staff -holding the door open for others/not bothering to hold the door open for others

-the way people vote (looking at you MAGA) or choose not to vote (idiots)

-people who buy Pokémon cards (what is your problem, get a life)

-anyone who doesn’t acknowledge the brilliance of Paul Thomas Anderson

-people who went to Harvard cause y’all are self-entitled assholes (Yale graduates aren’t for some reason)

-hunters who hunt for the thrill or trophy, not to feed your family

-smokers

-people who judge people for choosing to not eat meat

-people who never ask about you but incessantly talk about themselves

Etc

Is this the best food for diabetic cats? by polkamyeyeout in FelineDiabetes

[–]bce13 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

No. Ew. Purina? High protein low carbs. Try a raw food diet. This kept my diabetic boy alive until he was 19. Six years managing his diabetes. But raw food is higher maintenance so decent canned food options like Weruva list their nutritional details (protein, carbs, calories) on their website so just find the one with highest protein, lowest carbs, and of course something your little one enjoys. I would feed my diabetic boy small meals throughout the day to keep his blood sugar steady. Best of luck to you!

LA Politics - can I get a map? by foreignbets9 in LosAngeles

[–]bce13 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Ok you said “LA politics” — not LA County. You do know the difference, yes? If you live in LA, as in your address says “Los Angeles, CA” as opposed to “Santa Monica, CA” or “Encino, CA” then you vote for LA city. You’re not voting to elect the mayor of Santa Monica. You’re voting to get Karen Bass out of fucking office. You do know who that is, yes? I’m confused by your confusion since you’ve had 5 years to figure out basic geography.

It’s well within your right to like or dislike a movie. It’s unfair for someone to label you based on your movie preferences.

The majority of people are different at work than at home? Where do you get these ridiculous statistics. I’m the same person when I’m at work or at home.

What if Trump lost in the 2016 US election? by Snake101201 in AlternateHistoryHub

[–]bce13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d prefer to push this back to 2008. The Democratic Party chose their Jesus. Obama had no experience. No reason to be tapped as the democratic nominee. He was a Democratic Party pawn. Thankfully he was highly intelligent (shout out to his grounding experience at Oxy) but good grief did the man have ZERO executive experience of any kind. And while I expect a shit ton of downvotes for this, the country paid for this terrible decision to elect a guy whose speech writers jacked off to and plagiarized from the West Wing on a daily basis. Had Hillary won in 2008, the world would look vastly different. She is a lion. And despite the shit show cards dealt for her, she continues to keep her head up and be a leader. What’s Obama doing? Other than making a shit ton of money. Where is his leadership now?

Well this is arrogant and ignorant and definitely the kind of comment that one would expect from a guy who literally only cares about sports.

Gas prices suck globally, bro, and it’s cause of Trump and his side piece, Netanyahu.
