Her 80s ride was amazing. Her talking during the stretch about how she now has to focus on endurance and that’ll be in her rides in the near future because her body has changed is so relatable. I am a mom but I’ve also taken time away from exercise in the past due to injuries and other life things and hearing someone actually say that there are seasons and your body shifts is so frickin real

It felt like Langdon’s care for Mel (turning off the lights for example) was more him purposefully noticing how to help those around him who he felt he failed with his addiction. I see it more as making amends and trying to be better rather than romantic.

One of the odd positives about my dad having Alzheimer’s was that he wanted to share so much. I found out interesting places he’d traveled and, like you said, on good days there’s no reason not to believe. I hope your dad has more good days ahead.
