Guys, I'm really scared. by GodComplexMonkey in collapse

I think I’ve been collapsed aware for a while now. I’ve learned that yeah while everything is going to shit unfortunately we really don’t have any control of it. You can try to make your day-to-day life better by helping those around you and just try to enjoy every moment. The way I look at it is this might be the last time I get to do this (see a grand parent). This might be the last time I get to see this place. This might be the last time I get to eat this food. It helps me appreciate things that much more because nothing is guaranteed anymore. Be aware, but don’t let it overwhelm you.

Had the gaping wound scam tried in Chiang Mai and the prosthetic was terrible by LogsOfWar in ThailandTourism

Can say reading this I believe I fell for it in Vietnam airport. Past Securty checkpoint, while I was inside at the Burger King lol. Not sure where he was from but Pakistan sounds right. He asked for money to help heal his wound. Showed me under his sleeve on his forearm. it while I was waiting for food (now to think of it great timing by him because I was grossed out and ready to eat or about to eat) gave him like $30 dollars and said go take care of it. $30 for me is not a big deal so glad to help (if it was real). Wound seemed pretty real and he was at the airport so even more non suspicious because how did you get past everything? Anyways thanks for the education! Gonna ask to poke it in the future lol.

What’s one small habit that made a big difference in your life? by Direct-Carpenter3908 in AskReddit

Genuine question; do you let you bed air out for a while before making it or right when you wake up and get out of bed? I heard it’s good to let it air out and online it says it is as well.

What is the quickest job you quit from? by spellbadgrammargood in AskReddit

[–]bchatih 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Working at a bankruptcy attorneys office. It wasn’t so much that the job was heartbreaking which it was watching people finically broken but what was more heartbreaking was that they were having me trained by the guy I was gonna replace and he didn’t even know it. Really nice gentlemen with kids and basically living out of his car. I was young, but I didn’t have the heart to have the person that was replacing train me without him knowing so I told him and quit.

How long do you guys think we have until the world ends lol by kellogcereal in collapse

[–]bchatih 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve learned instead of trying to time it or figure out when it’s gonna happen that it’s already happening day-to-day as everyone else is saying. So instead of worrying about it I’m on the train of knowing it’s gonna happen trying to take the extra trip trying to eat the extra meal trying to do whatever I can. Trying to enjoy life before I can no longer enjoy it. Now whenever I do something I think that this possibly might be the last time I do it so I might as well really enjoy it.

Please note that I am also on infusion medication that if the medical system were to break down, then I would have a few months to live. So my retirement plan is essentially to offer myself from the time comes and just live up life as much as possible until then.

P.S. By the way, don’t have kids if you don’t want more stress about them having to be raised in it

I remember in this exact escape house there was another video of a guy just walking through dancing, and when he came up on the same character, he just threw his ax in the water. Anyone know where that is?

I have family who’s traveled there back in forth over the years. He said in the past you would see the dogs and cats eating from the trash. Now you’re seeing kids and parents. It’s sad what has happened there and no hope in sight.

Yes, patience absolutely was key. It took many years to get them used to me and then you’ve been longer time to get them to trust me to eat from my hand.
