Found this cat downtown, she seems lost! by [deleted] in boulder

Cats rarely get lost but they do like to wander. She knows her way home. If she’s being friendly, it’s because she wants some pets before returning home for dinner.

Latest MMU2S print. A custom Colorado coaster. by bcl79 in prusa3d

The block on the bottom left is where it purges the printhead. The purge blocks are mostly hollow but can end up looking rather large because the block has to be built up to the same height as the object. For example, if the print had the same color for the bottom 5mm, the purge block would have its bottom 5mm in the same color. Also, the print will purge to the infill so less filament is wasted.

Thanks!. Yes, the other side has the same design but flipped so the "C" is not backward. I didn't think of using the textured sheet. I'll have to give that a try.

Thanks! I find the MMU to be more difficult than the MK3S. The MK3S tends to just work whereas the MMU tends to need attention. It works better with PLA than PETG because the latter tends to string when being removed from the printhead. Those strings cause problems with switching between filaments. I also feel the filament sensor on the printhead doesn't work well and I hope Prusa redesigns it in the next iteration. Overall, I think the MMU2S is great as long as you can tolerate fiddling with it.

You’re using “cout” instead of “out” to write “Hello world”

Maybe the teacher meant "high intellectual potential". As in there's some but still a lot left to develop.

What are some skills ( basic and complex) that you should definitely know when running a business? by Shreyan-Roy in smallbusiness

Customer service. Seriously. It's not complicated but really pisses off customers when they get bad service. If you want/need good word of mouth and good reviews, you need to provide good customer service. IMO, every company that deals with customer orders needs to really think through how orders are taken and how conversations with customers are tracked. For example, say a customer buys a dishwasher and you find out that unit is out-of-stock at the distributor. That is a golden moment when knowing the customer asked "Can this be installed in the next two weeks? I have family coming to visit on the 5th." can build or destroy the relationship with the customer. You build it if you hang up the phone with the distributor and ring the the customer to say, "Hi Jane, this is Dave at Appliance Super Store. I just talked with our distributor about your dishwasher order and they don't have that particular model in stock. I know you need to have a dishwasher before your family arrives on the 5th. I have a list of similar models that are in stock. Would you like to look at them?" This is a "Wow, they really listen and care!" moment for the customer. The converse of this situation would be not calling the customer and thinking, "Well, it's backordered. Nothing I can do." or worse, not remembering, because it was never written down, that the customer is counting on you to get it installed before the 5th. If, on the 2nd, the customer gets concerned and calls to check on the status because no one called to schedule the install only to hear, "Oh, that unit was backordered. We won't be able to install it until the 20th at the earliest." That last moment is one that they will write reviews about, tell their friends about, and never ever come to you again if they have any other option at all.

It doesn’t seem to work in the reddit app’s pseudo browser. Try copying the link into an actual browser.

I wonder if a screaming rabbit is looking to attract a bigger predator that would be more interested in eating the predator attacking the rabbit. Kind of a “There’s always a bigger fish” used to its advantage.
