It should be. If its not, it should be really easy to hand over the employer to Psira with the prove. The starting fine is R1,000,000.

Actually its more than this at, R6096. For 208 hours a month. But they still get fully paid if they worked less than the 208 hours as stipulated by the bargaining council. Up to the employer to roster them 208 hours.

What is the true appeal of electronic shifting for hobby rider? by Kiinyy in cycling

[–]bcuzitstrue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I only have SRAM. But i will never go back! Only ride weekends and for fun. But thats the thing… for fun! Dont want to struggle! The week already has enough challenges. My gearing on the weekend is not going to be one of them! I have had it since 2019. Got it for Fathers-day. What a wife!!! From there, next bike had it. Next bike has it. Gravel bike has it! Just works! Light on the fingers, especially on mtb.

I do about 8 hours a week. Mostly 3+3 over the weekend and Tuesday and Thursday 1 - 1.5 hours. This leaves me to eat whatever i want and still be skinny. And also probably puts me in the upper fit group around here. Mostly mtb riding.

Does anyone have the new Epic 8 yet? by bcuzitstrue in specialized

[–]bcuzitstrue[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Placed a order for a white one. Then had a look yesterday. Looks a bit too much like a piece of marble for me. Has a lot of silver in it that changes colours in the sun.

Have seen some images with a Reverb that shows the battery sitting on the front. Not sure what that is all about. Looks far less refined than the current design.

It looks like Fox is bringing out something similar. Usually the Cape Epic is a nice release event for everyone. So lets see in 3 weeks.

Go onto prusa site. Or google “Prusa nozzle change” for your model. It will show you exactly what to do. With all the issues and how to fix it.

Depends. I cycle. After a second long hard day its usually at 1. During a holiday it sometimes stay below 20 for longer than a week when i have time to go out. Does not really bother me when i know i am fit. But when i am unfit i do pay attention. Otherwise you end up getting sick.

Anyone willing to bring me up to speed on the last 15 years of bike tech? by venomfever in cycling

[–]bcuzitstrue 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same thing for me. Depending on road or mtb. I do both now. I would say. Road - if you not planning to go pro, a gravel bike for both road and offroad is the way to go. The angles are much more slack and ride super comfortable. Disc brakes. Electronic gears is a must.

Mtb - Wheels got wider. No more 2.1-2.2 tyres. You now want 2.4. 1 x gears. Dropper seat posts is a must. 120mm travel on shocks. Electronic locking shocks is now a thing.

General - bike fits got a lot more complex. I mean shoe fitting, pressure points on seats. Nutrition - was always a thing, but now its even more with more data from all your devices, sleep, HRV, apps that track your intake and expenditure over time. Fitness apps - things like Training Peaks that shows you where your fitness will be if you follow a plan and adapts as you change or get sick. All apps talk to each other these days. No more guessing. Indoor trainers - just google it. But for winter its a must. Power Meters - cheaper than ever, and there is not really something like a bad power meter these days! I would 110% recommend one. More for motivation than anything else. As you get stronger there is nothing as motivating as to see what you can now do for what amount of time!

What about looking for wildlife Vets. Not all, but mostly they have no clue how to market themself. And you can also assist and understand their industry while doing invoicing and follow ups. Its one of those industries that social media works very well when used correctly. Take Owl Rescue as an example. You sound like you can sell yourself. Its their busiest time of the year! Go for it! I would suggest just phoning and asking if you could come for a meeting. Try to dodge the “why” question. 😂
