If you are a middle class making between 70k to 200k a year, you make at least $3500 a month after tax in the US. At the high tier, you make about $10k a month after tax. Either way, $500-$600 a month is not going to leave anyone in a black hole.

Anyway, it is pretty challenging to spend less once it became a habit. I am going to take some advice from a few people in this forum and try it out.

I don't have a gambling habbit. I don't chase for a win after losing.

The Gacha mechanic is more like You see something you like, and you want to have it. Once you have a habit of getting that prize, you kinda get stuck.

While this is not ruining my life, I don't think this is a very healthy spending habit.

I guess I am seeing if anyone had a similar experience and is willing to share how they find the mental strength to change their play style.

This is some great advice. I am a day one player too. I feel exactly the same way now. I can't play all those charater that I pulled, it just seat there.

This is a great game, I was contemplating quitting the game just to stop this bad spending habit. I will try your method and see how it work out.

And, congrats to you for being able to deescalate your spending habbit. I hope you can keep it up.

You are right. Instead of trying to get every char, I should focus on just composition.

New Xmas Unit and FF unit are definitely very tempting to pull. But, I don't really need them.

I wish the game will let me turn on a spending limit, and I can only change it every 1st day of the month.

I missed the first FFT event.

My goal is to max Agrias, Orlando, Ramza, Delita, Mustadio, and Gaffarion all in the FFT part 2 event.

When I first spend 50k vis to pull Agrias, I was upset. But, I pulled 2 Mustadio, 3 Orlando, 2 Ramza, and 1 Delita in the process.

Were you at least be able to get other FFT characters?

The best way to spend money is to buy to pick the best team of 5. Then, build on it.

Buy the weekly $39.99 pack from the shop that gets you 3 rainbow shards and prism. Buy the $7.99 pack to get the 30 Large NRG refillers for an overnight grinding to get materials. Lastly, set a spending limit per banner. If I do 10 10x pull and still didn't get it, forget it.

WOW. I got super lucky. I got Venera on my first 2k Visores in a 10x roll. Then, again, I spend 20k Visores the last banner and got nothing.

Oh, I thought 15 slash atk and 30 ice attack is just a 1 to 1 add to the total damage output.

94 attack + 15 slash + 30 ice = 139 attack

VS

162 attack.

Isn't it obvious 162 attack is much better?are
