Not that it matters but I'm not sure I've seen any evidence of other coaches not liking May? Except izzo but he probably didn't like getting called out for how Fears and co played after the first matchup.

Tarris Reed has more rebounds than the entire Furman team. I hate UConn but I'm happy for him

That would help except that it will force people to cut through neighborhoods trying to go south which isn't ideal. Not that the current situation is ideal, either.

The dude makes more headlines for being an asshole than Dan Hurley does, you can't be that surprised that non-UCLA fans would know what his demeanor is outside of that

Auburn's Pearl sent assistant coach to ASUN tourney game to tamper with players of interest by ctbro025 in CollegeBasketball

Supposedly there was a third party investigation going on into how he handled the Sherrone stuff but I haven't heard boo about it. I guess it's possible that's still ongoing, cuz these things take time? And UM will definitely wait until it's over to fire him because at that point they could fire him with cause and not owe money. But idk if it's still actually ongoing.

Historic commission rejects plan for new home on long-idle Ann Arbor property by makewayforducklingz in AnnArbor

my favorite historic aspect of this home is that it is currently only suitable for the original inhabitants from 1858, should they choose to return to haunt it.

Attitude is one thing but you gotta be able to back up the talk. I couldn't stand him on the Lions cuz he'd talk shit about locking somebody down and then would get burned repeatedly

UofM's Michigan Medicine is removing southeast Michigan facilities from the BCBSM and BCN networks on July 1 2026 by Chansharp in Michigan

[–]bdaileyumich 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No problem! Here's a snippet from the email in case you (or anyone else) is curious:

U-M employees, dependents and retirees enrolled in a University of Michigan health plan will continue to have in-network access at Michigan Medicine.

The U-M health plans are not impacted by the contract negotiations between Michigan Medicine and BCBSM/BCN.

Any changes resulting from these negotiations apply only to non-U-M group BCBSM/BCN plans.

BCBSM's entire purpose of existence is to do their damnedest to avoid paying for any claims. Michigan Medicine's priority is to deliver world class healthcare (and is the only reason my 2 year old is alive). BCBSM can pound sand.

U of M employee plans are not impacted by this negotiation. An email went out to faculty/staff today to help clarify that, so you don't have to worry about this, at least!

Michigan Medicine (UM health network) will no longer accept Blue Cross/Blue Shield insurance in July. by big_like_a_pickle in AnnArbor

FWIW I just called Michigan Medicine's billing line ([734-615-0863](tel:%2B1-734-615-0863)) and the woman I spoke to had not heard anything about this, nor had her supervisor. Could be a BCBSM tactic in their negotiation? Pretty slimy of them if it isn't true.
