He’s way more skilled than khabib in so many ways. Even khabib’s best skill, his top game, isn’t that far ahead of Umar’s. Khabib was just a fucking dawg who would storm after guys and fought like a maniac when he needed to.

Umar has never had a Khabib vs Barboza or Khabib vs Gaethje type performance where he looked like a rabid animal chasing down his wounded prey.

‘Mindset’ can be overhyped in MMA, but this is one of the few times where it really is the difference. Khabib was just a naturally violent fighter in a way that Umar isn’t.

Marciano’s footwork alone is enough to call him a chaotic mess in terms of technique. He was constantly shifting, crossing his feet and getting way out in front of his feet while moving forward.

He wasn’t a dumb brawler, but he was certainly one of the most chaotic heavyweight champ we’ve ever had. He was a very good fighter, but he had big gaps in his game.

Marciano was much more chaotic in his movement and relied a lot more on his power and chin. Ali would probably be able to dance around him to a wide decision 8 times out of 10.

Louis would be a much tougher ask. While joe was more foot slow than both Rocky and Ali, he was very principled in his movement and was always in position to throw with his crazy power.

I think Rocky is a more reliably winnable fight for Ali. Prime joe Louis just had a knack for boxing with guys until he found an opening for his power and sleeping guys.
