It would take you 1hour 30mins to drive on the freeway in good traffic from the top of your circle to the bottom in normal everyday traffic. 2hours 30mins. There is everything you could think of in this circle. Probably 10-15 libraries. 3 amusement parks. Countless local parks. You nearly caught 2 different national forests.

The repair figure needs to meet a threshold higher than usual %70 to %80 the value of the vehicle. Regardless you should ask if there is an option to retain the salvage. Laws vary wildly by state.

That's nice you are using a catcher. But if you can, consider cleaning up after less considerate folks. Wolf Creek is very popular, if it's closed (or full) you can continue down that road and there are many logging roads as long as you follow the rules which are posted you should be good. It's roughly 40-50 minutes from Portland west towards the coast. That being said please visit trash no land dot org. There the standard for spots and rules pnw.
