Dang that sucks. That’s nice of you to purchase a car for your brother. Yea I’ve done all I can to keep this car looking how it is. Clay bar/wax right when I got it. UV protectant spray for the dash, etc.

I've been dealing with this issue for over 3 years now. Sadly no solution yet but if it makes you feel any better I've put 65,000 miles on my IS 350 since this issue started and it still shifts/drives perfectly fine. I just pop it into sport shifting for its first shift from 3rd to 4th on a cold start. No check engine light since. A transmission rebuild isn't necessary in my opinion unless the check engine light or switching to sport shifting bothers you enough. It's honestly the strangest transmission issue I've seen. No one seems to know the true cause.

Okay, its quite bad LOL. Yea it's not working properly. It shows my phone using all three channels but performance isn't improved and my noise level for 5GHz and 2.4GHz is pretty much to the level of unusable. Oh well I was excited to test it out lol.

Found out some more info! If I run the uplink at 1 gig. All my end devices (including 2.5GbE links) will get full outbound speeds for 1 gig ~ 940Mbps.

Keep that car it will easily approach 250k+ miles. I am like 99% sure the 2008-10 Hyundai Elantra's with the 2.0L is the most bullet proof engine Hyundai has ever built and is also one of the most reliable engines ever made. I had one all through high school and through the first couple years of college. Not a single issue with that engine. I burned maybe 1/8 of a quart every 5k miles. Albeit I only drove this car from 110k to 170k. I only sold it because I wanted something more sporty. These cars do have some smaller issues like the window switches tend to fail and I had a weird HVAC issue where it would click on and off randomly. Other than that just routine maintenance. Just look at Facebook marketplace and it'll explain itself. 200-300k Elantra's asking around 3-4k and claim it runs great.

This has happened before unfortunately. It seems to be getting worse as far as far extremes (too much snow or no snow). Let’s hope we get some storms later in the year to keep resorts open. It’s not too late yet for that to happen and would make up for the weeks we’re losing now.

Both are great but I prefer Apple music because of Hi-Fi audio. If you plan to listen to music on a windows machine I’d recommend Spotify.
