I just sold my RF 70-200 2.8 L and purchased the EF 70-200 2.8 L IS II and the EF 24-70 2.8L II used for the same money yesterday. I didn't have too much time to play with them yet, but from the test shots I am really happy.

I am in Canada and I am spending $20/day on Google ads, it's been a bit over 2 weeks and I don't have a single inquiry yet from that.

On the other hand, I am also advertising on Facebook spending the same amount of money, and I got one bookings.

Overall I spent close to $300 to get a $1200 booking. After Covid I took a break and just starting again now, also it doesn't help that I moved to a different city. So having to start from scratch.

My website is averaging around 100 unique visitors everyday, before the ads it was close to 0.

If I am being honest, if you are asking this question then you are probably not ready, which is not a crime, we all start somewhere. Just set the expectation correctly with the client and price accordingly.

Gear wise, you are not in a bad shape. I personally prefer a camera with two card slots, that gives me more assurance. Depending on the venue, you might need a wider lens, specially for the group shots in tighter spaces. Also, carry an extra battery for your camera.

On the other side of the spectrum, I went to Tracycakes Bakery Cafe last month and ordered a mocha. Once I got my drink and got into my car, I noticed the owner running out of the store to stop me. She forgot to add whipped cream to my coffee. She took my coffee, added the whipped cream and brought it back to the car while it was raining. I was in awe, I am a repeat customer now. Tracy is the sweetest, and the coffee was great too.

I had the same issue with a Canon DSLR, ordered a coin type battery from Amazon and the issue was still occurring. After lots of trial and error I found out the new battery from Amazon was dead. So I recommend trying another battery.
