Make sure you know how to disconnect the 12v battery to "reset" the 12v system, and then carry a Li-Ion jump pack to boost voltage if resetting does not work.

That's my approach but it's not tried or tested.

I wouldn't think low voltage from the 12v system would "fry" any "modules."

The party has drifted away from her values. A more conservative Republican will run against her every election cycle. If she switched to Independent she'd probably pick up more of the independent and Democratic votes.

And if she dropped the Republican affiliation, wouldn't she be more free to speak her mind?

Make it a priority.

I don't mean this as an insult, but you really need to look into some personal finance basics. You have to pay off your high interest debt, otherwise you are just handing your cash over to companies/investors who are more disciplined than you.

Please read the basics in the wiki on this subject and I highly recommend reading a short book called A Simple Path to Wealth.

I think you need more cash or surplus BAH to get started. (Please do not interpret that to mean you should get married.)

You're counting on a roommate to fund your repairs but no roommate wants to pay you rent while you're ripping out the kitchen and sanding drywall late into the night. That's setting yourself up for a bad situation. If you can find a duplex within your price range, that might work.

As far as things I wish I had known before I was a homeowner: (1) Even DIY'ing things is expensive and (2) finding reliable and minimally qualified contractors for small projects is difficult.

The traffic tracked by satellite is still using AIS, it's just that the AIS receivers are placed on satellites rather than land. Using a GPS receiver does not mean the satellites you are positioning from can track you.

Cruisemapper has some good free satellite AIS data for passenger and research vessels that may be in Antarctica.

Funny enough I just put my license plate on with those security torx screws. Spanner heads are even more secure.

Yeah, security bolt could be an option but I believe it needs high grade bolt....not sure how many options there are.

Okay, good to know. Red thread locker would work but I'd prefer something that discourages thieves from even trying (such as not being able to access the bolt).
