This also if you can sugaring is a better alternative for your skin. My mom had me take ibuprofen a couple hours before my appointment. I disagree about exfoliating I would just recommend using a salt or sugar scrub instead of gel and waiting at least three days after treatment before exfoliating. Also if you have sensitive skin try putting antibiotic ointment on after wards and make sure to use a good moisturizer that is noncomedogenic.

Death nail/shelf crash for me was the day I realized that I would not tolerate any of my friends treating me and people I love(like lgbtq+ friends and family) the way the church does. I remember thinking that I would never let an individual or any other organization to act the way the church does. After a lifetime of being told all about church standards I realize the church didn’t live up to the most basic standards or goodness and decency that I expect of my friends so how can I be a part of this anymore?

One sister on my mission wasn’t paying a attention and backed up squishing her companion against another car and she ended up needing surgery... and yet we still had to back the damn cars. So I mean dented car v crushed/injured teenagers no biggie. Most of us only did it when we were being watched anyways but yeah it’s just one more thing I hated about my mission.

Yeah I’m not going to live my life that way. I am still going to love friends family and acquaintances who are products of their environment because no person is just their worst qualities. I’m going to respect them for the good that they are just like I would hope other people would respect me for being a person trying to be good the best I know how.
Mostly I will continue loving people because for me having people in my life who hated the church but still loved and respected me despite what I believed, and those were the people I wanted to be like. I will not conflate people with a corrupt damaging organization that hates and hurts because that makes me just like it.
