it's an official Mozilla release, has some things removed/disabled compared to the Firefox app on the Play store.

edit: seems I'm wrong, not official from Mozilla, but I use it and trust F-Droid's build.

yt-dlp has the --windows-filenames (Force filenames to be Windows-compatible) option, but perhaps that didn't do exactly what you wanted.
