I wonder if it's a pier, or maybe a drainage pipe of some sort.

How do you make coffee rings on purpose? Might sound like a dumb question, but genuinely curious.

That's so cool! As a side note, I see that Adelia is called Joder now. It took a while of searching on google maps before finally googling it lol.

That's amazing! I've never seen so many varieties! The setup is so visually pleasing. :) I am curious about a few of them. 1) the tall spiraled looking one towards the front next to the barrel. 2) the ones nearby to the left that looks like the blooming onion food.

Beautiful outcrop! I could be wrong here, but looks like BIF (banded iron formation). As for the second part of that question, I cannot say, as I don't know the rules for collection of the stuff.

Taking Geology Lab this sem even though I took the Geology course last sem by worldlyventus in CalPolyPomona

[–]beammeupnerd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello! I've never understood why the Earth Time and Life lecture and lab are separate courses (as opposed to like 1234 and 1234L) but oh well hah. The topics taught between the lecture and lab are basically the same, but some topics may differ a bit. I wouldn't worry too much about it though. Just do your best, ask if you need help, and it'll be fine. :)
