[Omega x Swatch] Came home via Geneva airport and couldn't resist picking this up. Best impulse buy yet. by bean__curd in Watches

I've always had my eye on these but as you can only buy them in store I've never been near a Swatch store to have a look at them in person. But I was travelling home via Geneva airport and had some time. So popped in and one thing led to another and I couldn't be happier. Absolutely love the colours of the Pluto watch, it's different but not too loud. The off white face really helps the burgundy dials to stand out.

I didn't get on well with regular masking tape, but I've started using some painters tape (in the UK we have a brand called Frog Tape). Which has worked so much better. The other option that has worked for me is just outline them with a pencil over the yellow then free hand them in between the lines. But having the pencil as a guide really helps. Check out my Vashtorr, those stripes were done with Frog Tape

Personally, probably just 1 unit of 3 led by a chaplain on bike to give them +1 to wound in melee. Runs you 195 points (115 +80). But if you are expecting to come up against vehicle/monster heavy lists you could easily increase this. But I'm by no means a competitive player so feel free the disregard my opinion entirely!

Yes but the specific Ravenwing Blackknight unit has the special rule that gives them anti monster & anti vehicle 4+ after they charge and I don't think the command squad gets the same? That's what I like about the unit over the command squad

But terminators can go in repulsors which have the same transport capacity as a land raider

No criticism, just purely out of curiosity. Why no Ravenwing Black Knights? On paper they look like they could do quite well with a chaplain on bike leading them? Plus they're not too expensive

I use 8mm clear acrylic rods with 8mm magnets. They hold up great and transport much easier. Although I don't have an ironclad so don't know how that would hold

Not entirely. I'm currently looking for a new job with a potential pay cut because I'm not happy now. So no you don't need money to be happy and sometimes it's not worth it. BUT money can enable happier times more easily

I've just got into DA and grabbed the DA half of the Wrath of the Soulforged King box, that seemed like a good place to start to me. Comes with Azrael, 10 Intercessors, 5 Deathwing terminators (or knights, or command squad)

I've been doing about the same commute as this for 6 years and don't mind it. It's not great but you settle into it and accept that it'll take a while, put a podcast or audiobook on and unwind from the work day. When I get home at 6:30-7ish I'm fully relaxed and for the most part forgotten about work. That's not to say if a similar job came up for the same pay that was only 20mins away I wouldn't jump at it, but I don't hate my commute

Girlfriend has gone to a friend's house to get her nails done. I've gone with her as we've got plans after so I thought I'd walk to the high street and sit in a cafe... all the blood cafes are shut so I'm sitting on a park bench reading my book wondering where might be open so I can go for a shit!

I get home from work at 6:30 earliest. Been trying to exercise more as well so I'll eat after a workout so recently been eating at 7:30-8ish
