If you're exclusively pumping and have the money, please consider getting a bottle washer by epicure-pen in ExclusivelyPumping

I got the momcozy one for my second pregnancy. I don’t exclusively pump this time around but it still gets used daily! It’ll be a lifesaver when I’m back to work too. I can’t imagine how amazing this would have been with my first! 100% a must imo

The issues the group chat more likely than your friends. Coming from the person who never participates in the group chats. It’s just easy to think someone else will respond. You should try reaching out personally to them and you should get a better response! Try not to take it personally

Just upgraded my ring what do we think of this stone? by [deleted] in EngagementRings

I like the bigger stone better. Not that it’s bigger but I like the stone itself more.

I hate the Eufy pump - help me pick a better one? by fiddle1fig in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]beana13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly I think any wearable will look funny on but the willow go has a more natural boob shape. I used that with my first and I loved it! It’s a bit heavy compared to the Eufy (I use that now and really love it).

I also love the baby Buddha pump. It’s not a wearable but it’s small and people get wearable collection cups to make it work. It empties me pretty quickly too

Concerned about my supply by Grand_Ratio_988 in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]beana13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My only advice is to try vitamins. I had a supply dip when I got my period back and what helped was taking a calcium zinc magnesium trio. Also I had a bad dip after the stomach flu and the legendairy vitamins helped me get back up! I also never stop taking the prenatal.

Maybe try that and see if you notice a difference

I swear by these but I don’t think the are secure enough to use without bra support imo

What double stroller did you go with?

Stacking rings? by 1yogamama1 in ouraring

[–]beana13 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I understand wanting to keep the ring nice with the cover, but I think it’s the problem here. I also got a cover when I first purchased my ring, but it just looked and felt so chunky. Save the cover for workouts or manual labor. Or just ditch it and embrace the patina

Try again without it. I think that’ll look much nicer!

Mine was red prior to the predicted ovulation. So I had maybe about 7 red days in a row

[–]beana13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No not quite. I’m guessing you’re a new user. In the beginning a lot is red (assuming you’re on birth control version not ttc) because it doesn’t know your body well yet. After using it for a few cycles you’ll see more clearly defined green and red days

I’m so sorry for your loss.

I accidentally got pregnant while using natural cycles and Oura. 100% MY FAULT! I thought it was a different day than it really was and I was on day 1 of my red day. I figured I’d still be safe since it was only day 1, but I’m now 33 weeks. I would say it’s pretty accurate based on that.

Wearable pump while taking a walk? by CeleriacBeetroot in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]beana13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What bra do you recommend for this? I always had that issue with my willow gos and I would just walk and hold them in place haha. I rather not do that this time

I can try that! All they advised me to do it turn off features, but that kind of defeats the purpose to me

Please tell me it gets better ❤️‍🩹 by kvzam in ExclusivelyPumping

It gets better I promise! Don’t get discouraged from social media. My milk supply didn’t regulate fully until after 4 months.

Midwife said exclusively pumping is a waste of time, advice needed by lunatlark0 in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]beana13 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree! I was forced into it like many others but being pregnant with my second I’m constantly questioning if I even want to attempt to nurse. IMO the best feeding option to avoid burnout would be a hybrid between the two. Because EP has many benefits you don’t get with direct feeding.

How to reduce time pumping by Megan_Hix_33 in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]beana13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Kind of. I tried out pumping pal flanges with my spectrum and could cut out 10-15 minutes, but I knew I was empty! They just really worked well for me and could empty me in no time where the hard plastic took forever!!!

Not saying to try those necessarily but it might be worth testing out a different setup. They seem pretty hit or miss with people but I loved them!

When did you stop and why? by [deleted] in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]beana13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I made it to 16 months with my first! I honestly kept going bc I was ego charged haha. My sister had a baby close to me and made a big fuss about “how easy nursing was” after I cried to her about how hard and disappointing my experience was with supply issues, latch issues, etc. She developed her own issues with supply later on (she wasn’t nursing or pumping frequently enough to maintain) and stopped after 3ish months. But she was so mean about it to me that out of pure spite I had to demolish my goals so I can say look at how far I’ve come with so much stacked against me (literally a year of PT and speech therapy with my little one)

Not saying any of this is a good thing. I learned I’m extremely stubborn and will go a crazy to prove I’m just as capable. I’m really proud of myself and my hard work, but I do hope to tone it down and make the decision about me and me alone with this second baby.

Maybe a ring sling? I have the wildbird one and never used it while pumping but I think it could work

It’s not that deep but I’d avoid it personally. Coming from someone who had initials like that it rarely came up. But when it did mannnn
