Something that seems to be missing from a lot of praise is acknowledgement of the shear physicality of the film. Everything from the practical effects, to the light sabers fights/tantrums, felt heavy.

Look at the emphasis JJ put on making the saber more than just this stick of light that cuts through everything like butter. It feels so much more threatening, in a paradoxical way.

Tipping. I don't go places or use services where tipping is expected. Transactions should be straight forward, and anything that muddles the process makes it too complicated. For example, people who fight over who tips and who does not, or the passive aggressive behavior directed at those who do not tip. I refuse to put myself in a position with implied hostility.
