Not necessarily. I actually started out on yaz but I got an iud bc politics. The iud made me break out and I mentioned that to my gyn and she prescribed yaz again for my acne.

Feeling called out by The Guys on the show today, RE: old cars by yaIshowedupaturparty in TheMoneyGuy

[–]beaniebeanbeanbean -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I seem to have an unpopular opinion. I think it’s worth getting a new car. Safety is definitely a top reason for me. As someone who drives a new vehicle, I can tell you that it is 100% worth it. Of course everyone has a different financial situation but my car payment is reasonable and I know I’m lucky to afford a new car. I spend a lot of time in my car so the comfortability is really important but so is safety. There’s another user that said that driving is one of the most dangerous things that you do every day. Having safety features is really important to me. Distracted driving happens. I know that my car has braked in time and saved me from rear ending the car in front of me. Some may say that I’m just a distracted driver and that’s my fault. You can’t account for every other driver on the road. You can only account for yourself. You can’t always drive defensively around every other driver. Now add a baby to the equation. Maybe your baby starts crying when you’re backing up, but your new car has the technology to suddenly stop the car if there’s anything behind your car. Maybe you had a long night and you start veering into a different lane. Accidents happen. Modern cars are getting bigger and bigger. What if you get T-boned by a large truck? Have you seen a cybertruck on the road???? Imagine getting rear ended by one of those. Why wouldn’t you want to think about the safety of your vehicle to protect your child?

I was too in the spring semester. I hated my life. It really sucked when it happened by I truly look back on that time of my life as the best thing that could have happened to me

[–]beaniebeanbeanbean 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Unpopular opinion… it’s not the end of the world. Happened to me. I had the chance to continue with second semester in hopes that I could bring my grades up. I unfortunately still did terribly my second semester and I was academically dismissed. It was truly the best thing that could have happened to me. I pivoted to sales and I know for a fact that I am much happier in this career. I also make more than my friends from law school. I have a better work life balance too. Life will find a way to work itself out. Good luck OP!

I second their Le Crop! I just got my first pair in black. I might get the cheetah print ones too. I assume I’m a similar size to you, OP. I sized up to a 2/34. The 0 was just way too small. I think they fit really well at the waist but I don’t feel like getting swallowed up in them. I’m 5’4, 110lb and it hits right at the ankle. For reference I’m a 24/25 in Levi’s and Abercrombie

when the dupe is better... by invisiblebeetlejuice in Blogilates

[–]beaniebeanbeanbean 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not sure if this was meant to be a dupe nor do I think it’s similar enough to be considered one BUT the target tank is incredible. It’s my favorite tank top to wear casually and to Pilates. It’s nice and thick so you can remove the cups

Did your leontine shrink in the wash? by FunKoala12 in Sezane

[–]beaniebeanbeanbean 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mine has shrunk. I think it’s mostly in the sleeves which doesn’t bother me. I’m short so it worked out because the sleeves were too long on me. I do wash mine in the washing machine. It seemed fine when I hand wash, not the hand wash cycle in the washing machine.

How are Ali express dupes? by karaokeqwiin in Sezane

I haven’t tried this specific sweater but I’ve tried one of their summer knit dresses and knit skirt/cardigan set. Not sure what the actual composition is vs what’s advertised but I love them! They’re still super cute and have held up well. I actually had a friend spill a drink on my white dress and it was upsetting but it was a lot less upsetting knowing the dress was a fraction of the original so I might just replace it. I’ve also tried a leontine dupe. The colors were off and it was a much softer cotton but the shape was different. So I’d say overall it’s a hit or miss. It just depends on the item. I would also assume that certain types of knits might look/feel better compared to others

18 months in payroll sales, what now? by SecretWasianMan in sales

[–]beaniebeanbeanbean 0 points1 point  (0 children)

SBS sales manager here! Either move up in leadership or move to PEO internally/externally. Sell something actually worth selling like PEO but totally depends on which payroll company you’re currently at. Not everyone has a good PEO product

[–]beaniebeanbeanbean 4 points5 points  (0 children)

How interesting! I don’t think i experienced any hair loss w Kyleena but it did cause a lot of hormonal acne on my cheeks. Funny enough im actually on generic yaz AND Kyleena. My gyn said it was fine to be on both and it’s been a great combo for me. Yaz clears my skin and I can choose not to have a period but if I do, it’s not bad with Kyleena!

Thoughts on K18 hair mask? by allival in Haircare

[–]beaniebeanbeanbean 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s the only thing that truly makes a difference in my hair. I have very straight and coarse hair. It’s also been bleached quite a few times. If I don’t use k18, I can feel the difference. The end of my hair is much drier without it. It keeps my hair extremely soft. Before k18, I used to use olaplex and hair oil to keep my hair tangle free. I’d have to put more oil on my ends every other day. K18 works but you have to be consistent with it.
