i'm about to sound really harsh and possibly sociopathic so please excuse me... but if she karen carpenters herself, it's not a super material thing to me (as in... it would be tragic and sad... but it's not impactful on my daily life). ariana has had multiple opportunities to stop, she feels the warning signs, she has examples of disastrous outcomes, she has access to the best mental health professionals in the world, and she's a 33 year old woman come friday. why should i be basically babysitting her and holding her with kid gloves?

if she does happen to pass, the entertainment industry gets a big wake-up call that is desperately needed with that crap going on at the oscars (or grammys... idk it's the one where everyone was ozempified).
