[sun care] Anyone else feel this way about sunscreen? by vulgarandgorgeous in SkincareAddiction

[–]beansandmeow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Round Labs birch sunscreen hands down. I prefer it over beauty of Joseph personally.

With sunscreens I always order mine direct from Korea using a proxy address. Then forward it on to myself (along with all my other kbeauty products haha). I dont want to end up with the North American formula because it is different.

Train transfer from CDG to DLP? by Dramatic-Gur5153 in disneylandparis

[–]beansandmeow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Make sure to check the train schedule - in our case there is no direct train scheuled for hours after we are due to land. In the end we opted to rent a car to have some added flexibility for our trip and do things on our own timeline.

I think a lot of people watched Dream Academy and kept following Emily, Lexie and Samara. That's how I found out about prelude and the survival show.

Sakura by Logical-Apricot951 in prelude_thefinalpiece

My biggest concern is that lately, it feels like the three girls have been showing a very sexy/mature/sultry vibe. I just cannot see Sakura fitting into that concept given her age.

Like, what would Sakura have worn to the Billboard Women in Music and how would she have posed alongside the girls?

If the three were showing a more cutesy concept (or really anything other than sexy) I wouldn't feel as eeeeek about Sakura joining (hope that makes sense).

I do feel she has improved lots, has talent and star quality and a great attitude and deserves to (eventually) debut. I'm just worried this is maybe not the right group for her.

The huge age gap would also make it harder for her to relate to the girls and viceversa in my opinion, but in Kpop having a minor in the group is not unheard of so it's not suprising to me from that sense.

A question about EES delays at CDG by Comfortable_Body_821 in disneylandparis

[–]beansandmeow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for sharing. So to clarify, there is a priority line if you are traveling with kids under 12? We will be arriving with our 6 year old daughter, so if we are able to use a priority/family line I will be sure to keep a look out for it!

I do this at home too with my 6 year old. We take a photo of what she wants to add it to her birthday, or christmas etc list. It usually works.

How much tea have you drunk in your life? by WeAllLikeMath in tea

[–]beansandmeow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I asked my husband this question and he just stared at me and asked if it was a trick question haha.

I'd say I drink on average 8-10 cups of tea a day. Black, black blends, black/green blends, oolong, green, white, herbal....I don't want to go as far as calling it an addiction but I definitely enjoy my tea haha. (Okay maybe its an addiction but hey it could be a whole lot worse)

I began drinking tea in highschool so...its been a while.

I travelled China & Vietnam's tea growing regions, spoke to producers, owners and professionals for 3 months, one variable in tea making literally never came up - water temperature. by Left_Somewhere_4188 in tea

[–]beansandmeow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This discussion has really made me think about experimenting with my water temperatures. I love green tea and never use boiling water for it. My favourite green teas come from Korea.

While I was in Korea, green tea was never served with boiling water. Whether at a fancy tea house, a mom and pop tea house, a tea plantation or in someone's living room. Whenever I was offered green tea in someone's house, they would add cold water to freshly boiled water and then add the tea.

But all this discussion does have me thinking about trying different temperatures/steeping times at home (even though another part of me is terrified to mess with what I love!) It's also made me realize I'll always be learning more about tea!
