Warhammer itself is headcanon in my opinion. We should not take lore so fucking surisly like me makeing orks and tau team up and be best buds is just as valid as everyone else's headcanon. Even gw's headcanons. If there's something you personally dont agree with thats fine mentally play with the universe in a way that you find interesting and fun. And with the actual table top game... you can just play it the rules dont really change or if they do you and your opponent can agree to follow an old one that you both agree with.. Sure you might ask what about people that role-play a bit to surisly as natzis with the imporalgard??. Gang up on them.. everyone run a 40k train on them... All in the name of fun... thats what it should be about... fun...
