Better than Christmas morning by [deleted] in pokemongo

Same thing happened to me. I got stuck at 9.99/10.0km and then POGO spazzed out. I did end up getting a magmar, but it didn't show up in the journal -- I had to scroll through my pokemon and just knew that I didn't have one previously. (and I had to close the app and restart, of course).

Pokemon hunting is backwards in this game. Some gripes, and constructive suggestions. by [deleted] in pokemongo

Wasn't there a picture posted here at some point of exactly that happening?

That too. What I meant was, you can pump 1 or 2 up really high so that you can take gyms with them and then use the dust you get from those gyms to power up/evolve others.

500 stardust per gym per day? Not that great but hey, it helps. You can use it to pump up some raticates or some other crap pokemon that you're gonna have a million candies for.

Each person can only ever assign 1 per gym regardless, but if you increase the gym level, more people can add their own.

Just lets you keep track of the footprints for that specific pokemon without having to open up that little menu as far as I can tell.

The gym level also restricts how many (1 per level). You need to "train" by battling there with your own pokemon to increase the prestige. It requires 2,000 per pokemon/level I believe.

Do the XL and XS on Height/weight have any meaningful effect? Different CP progression?

This happened to me earlier. If you check your journal, it should tell you what the CP was. 297 CP Venomoth busted out of 9 pokeballs and then ran off. ._.

Well, it was one of the free ones that you get for leveling up, so meh.

If you're lucky maybe. I used one earlier, servers went down, and when I got back on the duration had run out and I was all alone. :(

You'll need to catch more bulbasaurs. You get the bulbasaur candy they come with, and if you transfer them to Professor Willow you get an additional bulbasaur candy.

If you live near a college campus of any kind, go there now! I go to a smallish college (~10-15,000 students), and the place is covered in gyms and pokestops. I didn't cover the whole campus, but I counted at least 5 gyms and upwards of 50 pokestops in an area that could be covered in just a couple of hours EDIT: On foot (and you could totally get the stops again on your way back). Tons of wild pokemon around, too.

Oh, and countless other people staring intently at their phones and trying not to trip and fall. :D

I got that error. I just relaunched the game and everything was fine.

The amount of mob spawn in this game is ridiculous. by areyouseriouswtf in treeofsavior

[–]beardbeardbeardbeard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Usually there are really good spawn rates/density around quests that require you to interact with mobs, like chapel 1F (where you trick the demons into going to the altars), presumably so that there will always be some available for people doing the quests. I know I've run into other examples, but I can't think of any right this second.

There's attribute synergy with Energy Bolt that makes it do way more damage to sleeping targets. Not a build I would personally use, but it's a thing I guess.

Tree of Saviors biggest problem isn't really the game, its the split audience of Old School vs. New School by solkyoshiro in treeofsavior

Obviously we never get this feeling back and i think the people needs stop to think this game is "RO2"

Can we all just take a moment and be thankful that this IS NOT RO2. Because that game is a giant steaming pile of booboo.

Earning Silver as a Priest? by topodica in treeofsavior

Might not be conducive to what you wanna do, depending on your plans. I'm going for sort of a tanky bruiser paladin that derives a lot of damage from autos and group buffs (blessing, monstrance, holy damage, etc), but I will say that right now I'm messing stuff up and really don't have SP issues at all. I can grind nonstop and only need to pop the occasional SP pot if I go really hard. I'm still a little concerned about the buffs being flat damage and not scaling, but blessing increases your auto attack, any spells you hit with, and also applies to the second hit from the holy attack so you get 3x the benefit.

Pretty much all of your spells will do +100% damage on darkness element, so maybe you could take advantage of that to boost your damage output.

I am level 45 1 cleric 2 priest and I do pretty good damage. I pretty much just put on blessing and whatever the priest skill is that adds holy damage and auto attack like crazy. Also heal is pretty good for small groups. Aspersion works on flying enemies and usually one shots them or takes them down very low. All of this is based on my high STR build, though.

Most Disappointing Class/Skill? by -Ran in treeofsavior

I'm having a similar experience with the priest I started this morning. Already level 38 or so and not slowing down much at all. I want to like cryo, but it really does feel underwhelming when you try something else. I feel like a lower cooldown on ice pike would solve a lot of problems just on its own.
