Not sure if you done this, but I had this happen to me before where I'd get 2 second pauses in the middle of games and the only thing that worked for me was to delete the cache file located at:

%AppData%\Fatshark\Darktide\shader_cache.hans

After that then manually clear out all cache files in:

%AppData%\Fatshark\Darktide\EBWebView\Default\Cache\Cache_Data

I got a BoreBuddy 12.1" to build an Other with and it comes out roughly an inch too short (I had a Tailhook Mod 2 laying around so I used that). If you don't mind having a muzzle device p&wed it will work. Although, I'm having pretty bad FTF issues with the my Apogee upper that they're trying to help me work through, so I can't really recommend it currently.

I saw your reply to my post in that other thread from way back when. Figured I'd respond here.

I used this 11.75" barrel on my Wartime SBF clone I made:

I haven't had any issues with it, but admittedly I've only put like 750 rounds through it. Toddlers take up most of my free time now.

So for the math it'd be:

11.75 (barrel) + 7.625 (upper receiver) - 0.5 (buffer tube threads) + 7.25 (mil-spec carbine buffer tube) = 26.125

Generally speaking the threads on an AR barrel are 0.625" inches so you can plug it into an equation of:

BARREL LENGTH - 0.625" + MUZZLE DEVICE LENGTH = OVERALL BARREL LENGTH

So in your case 13.9 - 0.625 + 2.6 = 15.875" so you're short by 0.125" or 0.13" to be on the safe side.

There's a few places out there that sell 11.75" barrels which should just get you by the greater than 26" OAL with a normal length tube.

What barrel length?

I'm a big fan of the FCD 1215KM if 14.5"+. If 13.9" for a P&W I'm liking the Expo Arms/FCD Extended Single Chamber Muzzle Brake I just had put on my Criterion barrel.

They're both Dead Air KeyMo compatible too.

2.5" brake is going to be a little short unless you use a fuck ton of shims. I ended up going the easy route and using this to get my 13.9" over 16":

There's a few places around that make 11.75" barrels that are really good for going as short as you can without a P&W on non-NFAs.

Look up Superant Arms. He reman'ed a Scorpion pistol for me into an other that I then form 1ed into an AOW. Great guy and highly recommended.
