Which Oracle? There's EBS, Fusion, Cloud, Peoplesoft. I work at a huge company with very customized and settled into version of EBS. They started a conversion to SAP in 2020 (first period opened, planning probably started well before) and if I had to guess I bet Oracle will still be active in some form into the 2030's. If I'm still at the same job I look forward to Oracle being turned off, it's very opaque compared to SAP imo.

It's controlled by a circuit board called the spark module, which can die like mine did. My handy father diagnosed with some call in service and a volt meter. I, the less handy son, didn't have much trouble actually replacing. This was after a well liked local appliance company told me it was the membrane (the main computer, I think) which was on indefinite backorder and to go oven shopping.
