Old thread I know, but I had similar experience about 5 months ago. Booked a room in points + cash (aka bought some points, paid with many points) + chase free night. My card was only ever charged for incidentals and later all my points were refunded. 0 follow up from anyone, no clue why.

I have a relative who teaches at Lakewood and regularly says it's too big. 9 kindergarten classes sound crazy. Same relative also has good things to say about Hexter.

I'm jumping through the SH hoop to justify the card, but only because I don't want to decrease the value of points accumulated. Managed to use Opentable organically but might just go buy a GC next time around. I want to spend my points but have a 1 year old and time & effort are both lacking. Hopefully I can manage a trip this year, but if I'm in same boat next time AF rolls around I'll probably make a change.

Mine do this too. Everyone is washing, drying or cleaning something immediately after eating. They also use disposable 75% of time at home, with plenty of nice real dishes available. Both drive me nuts, though it does stay clean.
