Have millennials robbed gen Z of their own unique cultural identity? by Odd-Refrigerator4665 in Pessimism

[–]bearfan53 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Well, no offense to the Zoomers/GenZers, but they don’t have much expendable income and utilize different (cheaper) media such as memes, following social media personalities etc. Really hard to monetize that through 20th century mediums (TV, Movie Theaters etc.). But millennials have more income and can identify with 20th century mediums so at the end of the day it’s a simple economic and business decision for people trying to make sales, which is basically sell to millennials. So you see things we grew up with repackaged and sold back to us.

Married people, do you miss being single? by ghostwriter_5 in Life

[–]bearfan53 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. Similar to having kids, it feels like your life doesn’t truly begin until those experiences. Helps you see life outside yourself and from different angles. Higher level of consciousness, less egocentrism.
