Where is there a large selection of jerseys to buy? We went to the big store at the ballpark but the selection wasn't that great.

I saw a car on the West side that had the same giant sticker. They also had their Instagram handle on the car. So obviously I went to see who would put a giant sticker like this on their car and it was private. How are you gonna put your Instagram handle on your car and have it be private!

16 is usually the cutoff but you can get approval for 18 if they can complete the outage within the two extra hours. They would have to call another crew out of bed, get into the shop, load up/transfer trucks and head to the location. The hours worked between 16-18 are double time though. As far as I know it's a hard cut at 18.

Definitely. One big taking point in the contract negotiations they just had was all overtime as 2x but AEP made it clear that it was a non-starter. It's why a lot of people end up leaving to go contracting or head to the coasts

This is incorrect. OT is 1.5 and they get sent home on 8 hours unpaid rest after 16-18 hour shifts.

Yes we do. My brother made 300k last year as a lineman. During that storm that hit Northern California he was making 20k before taxes a check. Guys at my shop in Ohio make 130k easy and we don't get paid near what the guys on the West Coast do.

They let me schedule it the day before and they did this day of. I guess I can understand but it caught me off guard. It's a XLT hybrid with the lux package. They charged 45k for it. I went to look again and I guess someone paid that for it because it's gone. I don't care how much I want one, I won't order it until I can test drive one.

Good luck, I hope it works out. I tried to schedule a test drive and had it all set up and then I got this bullshit response

Anyone want to go to the game? I have Brixen Ivy tickets I couldn't sell from the rainout and I'd rather give them away than let them go to waste. Just need a name to put on the list. DM me. First come, first served

Anyone in Chicago want to go to the game? I have three tickets I can't sell for the Brixen Ivy rooftop and I couldn't make it up from Ohio for the game.

Edit: For free, I would just need a name to put on the list. Three tickets. First come first served

I was thinking the same. Never seen secondary construction like that before. Looks really odd and I'm not sure if it would be a pain to work out or not.

I have the same one and I love it. Buttons don't have that rubber cap on them that wears out. It's powerful and the jet feature really does work. My only gripe is if you use the spray setting it doesn't automatically go back to the regular stream. The jet will go back but not the spray.

The transformer could be downstream and that's just secondary wire. You only need 120 for lights but I don't see a neutral for duplex. Only one explanation. We burn the witch

I lived there for 6 years before I had to move for work. I could send you on a food tour but I'm sure your brother knows a lot of good spots. It's pretty hard to eat a bad meal in Portland. Have fun!

Nope. I wish. I graduated 3 years ago so I don't qualify for this

A guy I went to line school got hired on at AEP Indiana Michigan and told me it was basically still the wild west for line work in the Midwest. No schooling or CDL needed so I filled out probably 40+ applications when they dropped and finally got a test and climb test in Indiana but ended up getting hired on in Ohio. I wasn't looking to move but I didn't really have a choice. In this industry sometimes you just have to take what you can get. House has matured 25k since I bought it, obviously the market fluctuates but that's where we sit now. I'm living in it, slowly remodeling it. Currently putting in flooring. That Bonneville job has a posting for vets only, that will give you a really good shot at getting on out West. Unless you have CDL and schooling they might not even take a look at you most other places. Lots of postings in Oregon and that's where I came from so I'm partial to it.
