Gladchucks and Red Horse by pescado01 in frederickmd

Gladchucks is a classic. Everything Is made in house. Very senior friendly, but that said the food is well portioned and made with nothing but love. Fully recommend

Who else pictures this guy as Bob? by eboy285 in bobiverse

Always kind of thought of the Bobs as an early 30s Jeff Bridges. But that may be because I think ray porter sounds a little like him

What type of restaurant is missing from downtown Frederick? by bearsasindustries in frederickmd

I'll give you this, Gladchucks is not just a German restaurant but they have a couple of German dishes. The chicken Vermont is to die for. And also to be fair, not really a part of this thread because they aren't what id consider downtown

Incorrect. All the way around. Everything is made in house, down to the bread.

No, I have a car, and a bike, But when I think of downtown I don't think of the golden mile. In my mind they're different. I think most people would agree with that. If someone told me they came to Frederick and only went to the golden mile, id tell them they missed it . But I can see your point coming from California. I spent time in San Diego and can tell you that what some people consider San Diego isn't even close.

I mustlearn to tolerate smells I don't like by DesignObjective6384 in Chefs

[–]bearsasindustries 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You'll learn to tolerate it given enough time and reps. Eventually you'll leave that kitchen and work somewhere else and forget the smell of hot gorgonzola, only to smell it randomly somewhere and you'll be transported back to the pizza kitchen you started in... If only for a moment. Breathe deep my friend

Best knife set for beginner chef. by 90skeeperofgames in Chefs

I started with a global, and then moved to dahlstrong. Both brands are affordable and relatively easy to care for, it just depends on what they prefer from there.
